Autumn in Seoul (Part 1) : K-Beauty Haul

I went to Seoul for a week, and one of the highlights of my trip was the shopping, of course. Before the trip, I had made a list of various beauty items I wanted to buy there, so I wouldn't over shop and could use my money for something else entirely (will save that for part 2). I didn't buy a lot, since I had a tight budget and was mainly eyeing for the new Holika Holika x Gudetama collection. Well, without further ado, let the pictures speak. Here we go!

1. Holika Holika x Gudetama Lazy & Joy

This collection is the new fall/winter collection from Holika Holika. The first Gudetama collection is named Lazy & Easy, and this time it gets even cuter. I spent over $50 for only these products and got a mini hand mirror and a gudetama blanket as gifts.

Gudetama Egg bun puff

First one I picked were these! They're basically sponges with gudetama face on it! I grabbed two for backups. I don't wanna open them just yet as I still have my RT sponges to use.

L-R: Dough Blusher, Cotton powder

I also got the new blush in peach. I had initially wanted to get at least 2, but when I swatched the colours, the rest (there were 4 colours in total) were pretty much identical to the first 2 blushes they released last time. This time, however, Holika Holika upgraded the packaging and added a separator (thank God!), so the puff doesn't touch the dough-like blush directly. The powder on the right is actually from the old collection (Lazy & Easy), but I bought it anyway.

Face 2 Change photo ready cushion bb

The next one is of course, the cushion case. They released 3 different case designs, and sold them separately from the refills, which I'm thankful for. I've got enough cushions to last my whole life (exaggerated, but is true to a certain extend). I grabbed the refill nonetheless because the new pink refill has a different puff design. Ha ha.

I also decided to pick all the eyeshadow quads (there are only 2) and a lip tint. I wish I had bought the lip oil, too! I thought it was a lip gloss. :( well, I could still order them from Indonesia, fortunately, despite the higher price tags.

L-R : Ceramide cream, hand creams

Last but not least, I picked the ceramide cream (it smells wonderful and is very moisturising) and the hand cream sets! I know I have lots of hand creams and facial creams already, but I just couldn't resist the cuteness of the designs! Oh things I'll do for Gudetama. lol.

Those are all the Gudetama items I bought. Next I'll show the items from other brands I got.

2. COSRX

How can I leave without buying several COSRX products? I'm using their BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, Centella Blemish Cream, and Hyaluronic Acid Cream, and I know I have to try the infamous facial pads!

The pimple clear pads is the best-selling items from the brand, along with the snail masks. I also tried the pimple patch which works quite well to reduce swelling acnes.

3. The Face Shop

I have to make it clear that TFS isn't cruelty free because they sell in mainland China. I bought them because their sheet masks are cheap, and I can give them away to my friends. Plus, look at those cute designs! They've been collaborating with Kakao Friends, very popular characters in Korea, for a while, and these sheet masks are the new Halloween collection. I totally love how they make Ryan into Harry Potter. So adorable!

4. Innisfree

Innisfree is famous for their skin care, and I had wanted to try their sheet masks for some time. The bottom two masks are from TFS, though.

5. It's Skin

I feel like Korean brands are collaborating with different kind of characters and come out with too many cute stuff to choose from! It's seriously overwhelming. I didn't plan to try It's Skin, but I just fell into the cuteness of the Sesame Street designs. I only picked 2 items: Macaron Sugar Powder Pact (and I got the Cookie Monster coin pouch for free) and the rolling stick perfume.

6. Too Cool For School

I didn't find TCFS shops while I was in Myeongdong, so I was happy when I bumped into one in Dongdaemun. I've forever been wanting to try the Rodin contour powder, and I finally have it in my hands! Woohoo!

I guess this is the end of part 1. As an added bonus, I present my other random haul, which was totally unexpected: tumblers.

L-R: Starbucks, Minion's Banana Milk, Kakao Friends' Ryan

I didn't know I was such a big fan of Ryan from Kakao Friends until I stepped into Kakao Friends' store in Gangnam. Heck, I wanted everything Ryan I could see there, especially the giant Ryan plush! Sadly, the items were mostly overpriced and out of my reach, so I could only come home with one cute cup with Ryan showing his butt on it. I also bought a Starbucks tumbler in the last minute at the airport (it was an impulse purchase) because it is just simply beautiful. I also brought home the banana milk I bought at a convenient store (GS 25) as the packaging was screaming minions!!!!

How I wish I had more money to spend in Seoul. There were many things I couldn't get.... :')
