(Almost) Holiday!
Traveling. It's one thing I've always wanted to do yet have no courage to follow through. But, that's all in the past. Because this year, it's definitely on the top of my bucket lists and I intend to cross it off. and I'm about to.
Get excited, people. Because... *drumrolls*
I'll go to Vietnam and Singapore! (It's a fixed plan, but no tickets are booked so far. So it's not really a fixed arrangement or something; things can still change. Hence the will, instead of Present Continous. For all the grammar gods out there.)
Yeah, the destinations themselves aren't too far away from my home country. But starting small is important for a person like me. It was supposed to be a solo traveling, but a best friend agreed to tag along for this journey. So, yay! I won't be alone while wandering in Ho Chi Minh.
For my first holiday abroad without parents, I feel nervous, excited, anxious, and thrilled at the same time. I don't know what the journey will become, but I know it'll worth every penny. When I think about how I most likely won't have any money left in my saving by the time I get back, I don't even feel that bad. After all, that's partly why I save money. For things like this.
Now that I have a purpose, it what keeps me going at work. Everytime I feel like teaching sucks, I'll just remind myself that I'll get away from it very soon.
Counting down... 27 days to go....
