Bonjour 2015!
For those in Indonesia, we closed the year with a heart-wrenching news about Air Asia's incident. It went beyond my craziest imagination, I didn't wanna believe that such a low-risk short flight could lead to disaster. How powerless we are in front of nature and God's plans. It makes me realize that nobody knows what the future holds, only God owns tomorrows. As devastating as it is, I wish all the people affected by this tragedy can find strength from within, a power to move on and to live day by day, cherishing every breath they take, for they still have a journey to be walked, and duties to fulfill. For those who have departed before us, may they find peace in God's warm embrace. It's a relief to know that we're one step closer to revealing the truth behind the plane's crash. As the facts keep unraveling themselves, I hope all that have left us behind know we're here, surviving another day, and keeping their memories close to our hearts, where they'll never be forgotten and they needn't be afraid, because the Divine Being is with us and them. Let's pray for a brighter day, and work for a happier tomorrow. Amen.
Last year I was done with resolutions. But this year, I think I have a bucket list to write. It might not be fulfilled by the end of 2015, but I wanna cross at least half of the list. So, here's for nothing!
- Feeding stray cats whenever I have the means, time, and money
- Donate more to the poor, abused, and disposed animals/pets.
- Travel to at least 2 places alone.
- Buy a new iPad Air
- Be more productive in writing
- Pass CAE
- Be a better teacher
- Be more physically active (gym!)
- Eat more responsibly, cut down all the junk food and grease. Basically, live a healthier life.
- Love more
- Save more money
So, what's your bucket list?
Signing off,
