Minion Madness!!

A little peek to my life after my thesis is done. 

So, July 3. Today is the premiere of Despicable Me 2. So, what? you ask. 

nothing important. only that it's somehow related to my latest addiction, MINIONS! 

'minions' are the little yellow-banana-loving creatures Gru created on Despicable Me, that are basically his minions. They speaks non-understandable papoy language, which sometimes makes-english-sense. they're so cute and adorable on the screen, and now they're at my house! 

How so? 

Well, the thing is, McDonald's latest Happy Meal is Despicable Me 2, which of course, featured the super-totally adorable MINIONS! Lucky me, this happy meal package is available in Indonesia, cause apparently, not all countries with McDonald's have the same Happy Meal series. There are 9 minions we can collect, including 2 evil minions (new kind of purple minions making their first appearance in the new movie). After a total of 4-days endless searching and rummaging all McDonald's in the city (and finally in the outer city), I got all 9 in my grasp! Ho . Ho. Can you imagine how delighted I am? SO VERY MUCH. Fyi, the minions are kinda the most wanted things in the city (or country, maybe), they're hunted by many. As a result, many McDonald's in my city are currently running out of stock. Lucky me, right? I started collecting last Wednesday, and on Tuesday (yesterday) I got the last 2 minions I'd been searching for. Now I can proudly say, MINIONS ACCOMPLISHED!

My favorites are the 2 evil minions. They're so unique and different. The rest are just as cute, but sometimes being different makes you stand out more from the others.

PS: I have made a pledge to not eat any more McDonalds's and the kind for the rest of the year. I've had enough of fried chicken, McNuggets, cheeseburgers, and fries, no matter how much I love eating them. :(

PPS: Call me crazy, I still have a childish side (enough for a life time) inside of this soon-to-be 22 body.
