Fifty Shades of Grey

I know this book has been on the best selling list on NY Times since ages. But the opportunity for me to read it only came a month ago.
I tried to keep my head clear of any conception. Trying to read with no expectation what so ever. But I failed quite badly. I've only read and heard good reviews bout the fifty shades trilogy, so I unconsciously expected more than I could handle.

But sadly, I experienced so little satisfaction upon reading the first of the fifty shades trilogy. It took me nearly a month to finish one book! I'm surprised. One word bout the book: sex. And another word: more sex. Third word: abnormality.

So yes, the lead man character, christian grey is super rich, super handsome, but is sick. Literally sick. Not physically, but mentally. He's a sadist. And anastasia steele is definitely a masochist in training. Lol. The whole point of the book can be summed up in just 1 or 2 pages. You don't need a trilogy for that.
Anastasia steele has fallen for a highly successful businessman and a sadist sex addict, christian grey, who isn't capable of love because he's been badly abused as a child. But christian grey slowly changed and opened up because of anastasia steele, and finally able to love again. and they live happily ever after. The end.

The rest is just sex. Believe me.
But well, can't blame E.L James for that. It's an erotic novel, after all. I felt like reading a porn book and ended up skipping all the sex parts and got straight to the after-sex parts. I just think the whole sex scenes are highly exaggerated. So little stories, too much sex. It's like what the hell, christian grey you need to be sent to a mental hospital, like seriously. :/ and anastasia steele, you are blinded by love, but you need to seek some professional advices too since you're showing the symptoms of a masochist. You two, go back to your room and think about what you've done. You bad bad kids. -..-

If you leave out the sex, the book isn't so bad. Christian Grey (if he's normal), is the man of every woman's dream. The way the author described grey's richness is just so dreamy. Your own jet and chopper? God, i want those.

Right now I just started reading the first chapter of the second book, fifty shades darker. There will be more sex, I'm sure. but i think the author is also letting the readers know more about grey, and the reasons behind all his deviant sex behaviors. Hopefully they make sense. *fingerscrossed
